Our new BlackBriar theme system was designed as a study in contrasts, a veritable Little Black Dress that rises to any occasion or setting with impeccable taste & style. Interlocking contrasts of color and object accents frame a distinctive, stepped-hierarchal grid designed to maximize clarity and minimize distraction. The balance of color, contrast & clean, modernist type thrust your photos and textual content to center stage while maintaining unity, order, and cohesiveness throughout your entire presentation. Photo-layout masters feature the signature integrated bleed style, along with a mix of layered and inset-image alternates, giving you a wide range of options for media placement that can blend with - or stand apart from - the surrounding content.

The included layouts - from traditional text-oriented content slides to photo and icon-driven editorial layout styles - feature crisp, modern type set in an intuitive, multi-tier hierarchy that's designed to maximize clarity & minimize distraction. The accompanying chart styles include both Light & Dark sets of color-based palettes, along with a tonal Greyscale option perfect for making callout/contrast charts. Supplemental Materials are built right into the theme file, making it a snap to reference color or style information at any time during the authoring process. And the entire BlackBriar framework is optimized for everything the modern Keynote architecture offers, including a a full suite of color, type and table styles that make it a snap to tailor your presentation to your unique, individual taste with absolute consistency.

The Slides

The core BlackBriar theme includes 50 master slides — a mix of traditional, editorial & image-driven layouts in the signature BlackBriar style. Along with the basic content and photo layouts present in any Keynote 8.x-9.x theme, BlackBriar also includes an expanded selection of general-purpose content-oriented masters, including Percentage Compare & Contrast, Text & Photo Quotations, Bio and Agenda slides, along with tailored Section Dividers and multiple styles of image layouts offering you tremendous flexibility from the start. Supplemental Materials are integrated directly into the theme, making it a snap to reference color chips and formatting tips at any time during the authoring process, whether you're on desktop or mobile. And the accompanying chart fills pop with a crisp, solid-color style - including two complete Mono / Mono > Neutral Spectrum color palettes & a tonal Greyscale style perfect for Callout/Contrast charts, all optimized for your choice of Light or Dark placement.

The Big Picture: BlackBriar HD

BlackBriar HD, available in the Pro Edition, expands the style into HD format with an aspect-optimized widescreen version of the BlackBriar theme, so you can take advantage of the clean simplicity of an iMac, a Mac-driven Cinema Display, or an HD Monitor or Projector as target presentation platforms without the "dead space" associated with running traditional 4:3 presentations on an HD display.  Whether attached to an HD display or projecting to an HD-equipped room, your presentation will take full advantage of every inch, custom-tailored to intelligently adapt the BlackBriar aesthetic to the larger footprint of HD.

Can't imagine leaving your favorite portable device out of your work-flow? The BlackBriar themes are fully compatible with Keynote for iOS and iCloud, so you can transfer a presentation using the BlackBriar theme to your iPad, iPhone or iCloud Drive for playback or editing with no updates or special workarounds required. And BlackBriar is iOS Direct-Install enabled, so you can install the BlackBriar themes directly onto your mobile device from your KeynotePro Account to author new presentations on the go. Keynote for iOS is a beautiful way to engage your audience in a tactile way, and the BlackBriar style remains just as stunning at arm's length as it is projected on the big screen.
