The powerful styling of Tokyo RPG comes to Pages '08 with an expanded slate of templates that both complement and extend the original design. Tap the full potential of the iWork '08 suite consistently from presentation screen to brochure and beyond.

The Tokyo RPG templates for Pages, like their Keynote counterparts, are a balance of the modern and the traditional. We've juxtaposed a shifting, modular framework against classical, grid-based layouts and type to create a highly stylized, structured framework that's well suited for a wide variety of high-tech, corporate & finance or general-purpose topics.
Tokyo RPG for Pages '08 includes up to sixteen complete templates (Pro Edition), each in 3 signature colors - from the basics of Letterhead, Memo and Envelope templates to the expanded 44 and 48 master-page Brochure templates - giving you a wide range of document types and layout options to choose from, whether you're preparing an Agenda for the weekly meeting or assembling next season's Quarterly Report. The included layouts - a full range of text-oriented pages and mixed text + photo feature pages - feature clean, easy-to-read type and bullets on panels that impose a subtle, gridded order on the layout areas. And thanks to the flexibility of the Tokyo RPG for Pages framework, you can extend the basic templates to include your own palette or even create your own layouts with absolute ease.
The Tokyo RPG for Pages templates have been completely rebuilt in the transition to Pages '08, producing a new generation of templates that are even easier to use than the previous releases. The entire line of Word Processing-mode documents have been redesigned to adopt a more ink-friendly approach, removing the backing color and panels from the original release to yield a tighter, more professional feel that's better suited to desktop printing. The brochure templates have evolved as well, rebuilt as Page Layout-mode documents that are infinitely easier to use and customize than ever before - including an all-new Horizontal Brochure template alongside the expanded Vertical and 3-Panel brochure templates. Business Card templates join the essentials roster, including a photo-driven style that echoes the latest Keynote release. And "Spread Right" options have expanded across the board - giving you far more options for building facing-page layouts than the original release.
In the new Tokyo RPG for Pages '08 Pro Edition, the Word Processing template pool expands to include Meeting Notes, Project Proposal and Report templates - multi-section templates perfect for prepping quick agendas or summary documents. On the Page Layout side, new Poster Templates include multiple signature styles in your choice of standard or new ink-conscious designs. The all-new Newsletter template brings a magazine-inspired approach to the Tokyo RPG arsenal, with 36 complete Page Masters in both Full Color and Limited Ink styles.
Tokyo RPG for Pages includes up to 16 complete templates (Pro Edition) in both US(Traditional) and ISO(Metric) formatted templates, each available in the 3 signature Tokyo RPG colors, in both US(Traditional) and ISO(Metric) formatted template bundles. From the basics of Letterhead, Memo and Invoice to the extensive brochure templates - you have your basic document/collateral types covered, along with a range of in-template variations so you can pick both the document type and the layout that's right for your specific needs.
Each of the templates is built using the new US/ISO hybrid model introduced with Pages '08, so you'll never need to wonder if you have the correct template format installed - and the new installer integrates the templates directly into Pages' template chooser without the need to delve into the supporting folder structure.
Tokyo RPG for Pages is built with extensive flexibility in mind. We revisited the modular framework used to build Tokyo RPG for Keynote with an eye toward portability, evolving to a core design that's more print/paper friendly at its base, and built with native shape objects so you've got the power you need when you want to go beyond the raw templates. Following the instructions included in the Getting Started PDF, you can unlock the color blocks that build the Tokyo RPG layouts and bring in your own color palette, add shadows or resize the layouts with little more than a few click in the document Inspector. Mix and Match the layouts across the template pool with ease - adding magazine-styled layouts from the Newsletter template to your brochure, or replacing the back cover of your brochure with one of the Small Poster templates. It's completely up to you, and Pages '08 makes it easy every step of the way.
Thanks to the power of Pages '08, you can create sophisticated brochures, letters and business documents with such absolute ease. From the ease of drag + replace photo placement, to the power and flexibility of the Page Masters system and document-wide Style assignments that ensure your documents look consistently great from page to page, Pages makes it easy to create layouts rich in typographic and visual style. And most importantly - Pages gives you the power to create documents that are every bit as visually compelling as their counterpart Keynote presentations, with the same ease of use and stellar results you've come to expect from iWork '08. With Tokyo RPG for Pages '08, you can put that power to use with absolute consistency from presentations to collateral - iWork makes it easy, and Tokyo RPG makes it look like your designer is working overtime.
