The print-inspired styling of Sonoma for Keynote comes to Pages in an extensive suite of templates that naturally extend the original design - now fully updated for Pages '08.

The Sonoma templates for Pages, like their Keynote counterpart, blend classic print styling with a color-neutral framework, designed to propel imagery, color and type forward while maintaining a consistent, structured feel. The result is a design that actively encourages you to mix shape-based solid color blocks or contrasting photographic palettes into a diverse array of color and texture.
Sonoma for Pages '08 includes up to 16 complete templates (Pro Edition) - from the basics of Letterhead, Memo and Envelope templates to the expanded 28 and 33 master-page Brochure templates - giving you a comprehensive range of document types and layout options to choose from, whether you're preparing a simple cover letter or the complete Fall Catalog. Each layout - from the understated elegance of the new Word Processing layouts to the mosaic "module" oriented layouts of the brochure, newsletter and poster templates - are all approached with an eye to balance, detail and style that will make your material look great with very little effort.
The Sonoma for Pages templates have been completely rebuilt in the transition to Pages '08, producing a whole new generation of templates that are even easier to use than the previous releases. We took on your number one request - business papers that required less ink for everyday use - and restyled the entire line of Word Processing documents to adopt a more ink-friendly approach that echoes the Caption Style designs of the Keynote theme. Business Card templates join the essentials roster, adding a photographic twist that makes it easy to extend the basic style with your own. The brochure templates have evolved as well, reborn as Page Layout mode documents that are infinitely easier to use and customize than ever before, including all new lighter-ink variations of key pages.
The new Sonoma for Pages '08 Pro Edition includes all new template styles to choose from. The Word Processing template pool expands to include Meeting Notes, Project Proposal and Report templates - multi-section templates perfect for prepping quick agendas or summary documents. On the Page Layout side, the new Poster Templates come in two sizes, each including multiple signature styles in your choice of standard or ink-conscious designs. And we've rounded the Pro Edition out with the highly-requested Newsletter Template, including 14 complete narrative-driven layouts that complement the more structured approach of the horizontal or vertical brochures.
Each of the templates is built using the new US/ISO hybrid model introduced with Pages '08, so you'll never need to wonder if you've got the correct template format installed, and the new installer integrates the templates directly into Pages' template chooser without the need to delve into the supporting folder structure.
