Taking cues from our Palo Alto theme, Platform is designed with end-user customization in mind. Based on extensive end-user feedback, we set out to design a theme that would allow user customization with little more than a background color change - enabling a world of options and stellar results for even novice Keynote users. What we ended up with is Platform - a true chameleon of a Keynote theme - that can stand on its own in its native colors or quickly adapt to its surroundings in the blink of an eye.

Every detail has been approached with ease-of-use in mind, resulting in a click-to-modify approach to theme customization. Every slide in Platform is a "photo master," with layouts floating above a user-modifiable background - so you can change the look of a slide simply by changing the background color, gradient or photo. Classic layouts, attention-getting chart fills and subtle shadow all come together to build a classic look all on its own, or provide you with the foundation to push it even further.

 

 

A Clean Slate. The Platform theme features a clean, classic, "inset" design, allowing you to frame crisp type and layout in your corporate colors, favorite photos or even full motion video with unprecedented ease.

The Slides

Along with the standard general-purpose slides included in each Keynote theme, Platform also includes 10 additional master slides - a mix of photo and alternate text layouts. The Platform layouts are all designed with an eye toward neutrality - allowing for a wide range of colors and textures to be used with little need for further customizations. The charts are vibrant and modern, with a soft gradient glow adding even more texture to the overall look and feel.

 

Quick Start Platform. The Supplemental files include instructions for making your own customizations to the theme in no time flat, along with Photoshop files for making your own custom fills and bullets - even a "Blank Slate" master and user-configurable Platform Panel for creating your own custom layouts - all with click-to-edit ease.

 

Supplemental Material

We've also included a Supplemental Materials file, which includes both styles of chart fills and bullets, a full range of instructions and tips for making quick + easy customizations to the Platform base, as well as Photoshop 7 files with layer styles in place - so you can bring your own color palette into every aspect of the theme.

For the more adventurous users, we've even added a "custom panel" object - designed to be used in conjunction with the Blank Slate master, you can create your own layouts with drag + drop ease - even opaque panels so even more of your color scheme or photos mesh with the layouts.
