Pavilion takes its inspiration from the classic sophistication of Deco-styled glass-on-post panels - in a modernist interpretation bridging the timeless look of the original to thoroughly modern type and layout set against a foundation of polished aluminum. The result is an exceptionally crisp theme, with a color-neutral balance that allows for a nearly endless variety of photo or illustration styles to come together in layouts evocative of environmental design or installations.

While the inherent design heritage of the Pavilion '08 style makes it especially well suited for presentations on architecture, environmental design, fashion or high-impact corporate themes, Pavilion '08 was designed to be a highly flexible Keynote theme suitable for a wide variety of practical applications. The included layouts - from traditional presentation-oriented text and photo-oriented layouts, to more unique deco-inspired signage, installation and art glass designs - are all approached with an attention to detail and style that will make your material look great with very little effort. The type is crisp, stylized and modern - with a subtle engravers edge and cut-in bullet style. The accompanying chart palette is decidedly subdued and understated, with a soft gradient shadow adding a contrasting, textural feel against the opaque glass panels. You can even extend the design and create your own Pavilion-themed layouts using the included Panel and Post Objects from the Supplemental file - making the possibilities nearly endless.

What's New for '08.

The Pavilion theme has been expanded in the transition to Keynote '08 - up to 46 Master Slides in the Pro/HD versions, including more variations on your favorite layouts from the original, and a range of new layout options designed to make the theme even more flexible. New Multi-Row and Multi-Column slides make comparison or directory-style slides a snap, and the new "Blank - Photo" master lets you use photography in place of the posted glass for an even more customized approach.

Pavilion '08 HD, available exclusively in the new Pavilion '08 Pro and Pro+Mobile Editions, expands the style into HD format with stunning, aspect-optimized 16:9 and 16:10 versions of the Pavilion '08 design, so you can take advantage of the clean simplicity of the new iMac, a MacPro-driven 20, 23 or 30" Cinema Display, or a next-generation HD projection system as target presentation platforms without the "dead space" associated with running traditional 4:3 presentations on an HD display. Even run full screen on your new MacBook Pro to take full advantage of every inch of the remarkable display. Your presentation will look like it was custom-tailored for your machine.

 

 

From Boardroom to Runway. The Pavilion theme features a range of commanding text + photo layouts - including unique circular accent layouts and both square and circular mosaic layouts - in a highly flexible style that's a natural fit for the 3rd Quarter Numbers, the new Spring Line, or anything in between.

The Slides

Pavilion '08 includes up to 46 Master Slides (Pro/HD Versions) - a mix of photo-oriented and alternate text layouts. The Pavilion '08 layouts are all designed with an eye toward geometry and neutrality - allowing for a wide range of colors and photo styles to be used in an array of linear and circular layouts, including the signature circular accent and mosaic layouts. The charts are subdued and professional, with a soft gradient shadow adding subtle texture to the overall look and feel - all surrounded by crisp, classic type and the soft shadow + light of the curved metal backplate that frames the glass-on-post panels.

Pavilion '08 goes mobile with the Pavilion '08 EP Edition - included in the new Pavilion '08 Pro+Mobile Edition or as a stand-alone theme download - built to take the Pavilion style to the iPhone or iPod Video in a format optimized for small-screen viewing. Our EP Edition Themes, short for Elevator Pitch, recreate their full-scale KeynotePro Theme namesakes with optimizations for increased readability and clarity on the iPhone and iPod Video screen, as well as Title Safe adjustments allowing you to use your iPod presentation with the iPod AV Cable and a television or projector without losing any of your important details.

Pavilion '08 EP Edition for iPod includes 27 complete Master Slides: a wide range of text, photo-oriented and mosaic designs cross-optimized for iPod and television display. Pavilion '08 EP Edition for iPhone includes an expanded 34 Master Slides optimized for viewing on the iPhone's larger, HD-leaning display.
