Duet Update: You called it "the Best Yet" - so we kept jammin'. Duet has now been updated to a full Trio of colors - the original Duet, and the new Duet Blue and Duet Green. This updated package includes 3 complete themes with matching supplemental materials.

Taking our cue from crowd favorites SoHo and Palo Alto - our latest print-inspired theme is simply dazzling, endlessly adaptable and a joy to present with. The central design - a split contrast between title + type - is easily layered with warm, tonal accents of type, shape or imagery in a sophisticated blend of color and style.

The basic Duet style is decidedly restrained - crisp, reverse type against a two-tone palette - allowing for on-the-spot placement of contrasting shapes and type to add your own focus or flair as your presentation demands. With a range of text + photo masters, you've got tremendous flexibility built right in - whether you're sticking to the basic style or expanding on it with the included supplemental styles. Tone + Balance. The Duet layouts are a study in tonal balance and simplicity, with bold, deeply-hued layout regions. A range of Photo and Text Masters, along with reversed "FlipSide" layouts give you a wide range of options.

Along with the standard general-purpose slides included in each Keynote theme, Duet also includes 14 additional master slides - a mix of photo and alternate text layouts, including "FlipSide" layouts, designed especially for the Flip transition style, allowing you to show "the story behind the story" in a wholly unique way. The Duet layouts are thoroughly minimalist, with custom bullets and a tonal chart palette designed to drive your points home in style.

 

Bring Out Your Wild Side. The Supplemental files include "Distressed" objects - Copy + Paste border objects that allow you to turn the crisp Duet layout into a well-worn + street-wise creation. Or hit the other end of the spectrum with "Printed Page" objects - registration marks + color bars that make the slides look like press proofs.

We've also included a Supplemental Materials file which includes the Duet palette, style guides and tips for making quick + easy customizations to the basic design, as well as "Distressed" and "Printed Page" objects - allowing you to easily transform your Duet presentation with gritty distressing elements for the borders of the colored blocks, or transform the entire layout into a "press proof" by means of registration marks, color bars and sidebar text. From custom focal shape tones like the ones that appear on the Duet icon, to accent type styles and a pre-sized "page number" object for use on non-numbered layouts , it's all available with Copy + Paste ease.

Duet requires Keynote 1.0 or higher, and the Helvetica Neue font face. If using with Keynote 1.0, we highly recommend applying the Keynote 1.1 Update (available via Software Update).
