The latest installment in our print-inspired City Series - Barcelona - departs from the stark, modern approach of our Palo Alto and Oslo themes in favor of a more organic approach. The Barcelona theme is an exploration of classical technique - bringing aged paper and coarse, loosely trapped blockprint color together with crisp type and the timeless icon of world travel - the postcard - into a design that is both raw canvas and a well-worn tome.

While the classic styling of Barcelona makes it a perfect theme for presentations on the Arts or Humanities, the design has been approached with general-purpose use in mind: a wide range of both Text and Photo-oriented slides have been brought together with a meticulous attention to detail that will make your presentations look well-seasoned with minimal effort. Crisp type balances a coarse, organic blockprint-style background thick with minor imperfections and texture. Custom ink-spot bullets, warmly textured chart fills and traveled, crumple-edged postcards overlay the canvas in a timeless blend of style and metaphor that begs the viewer to delve deeper. And with extras like Ink and Coffee Stains, you can add even more texture + life - even create your own spreads with free-floating Postcard Objects. A Matter of Minor Details. The Barcelona theme is lushly textured - with hair-line ink runs and overlays bleeding into the lighter paper backing, a crushed corner crease on the postcards objects - even add coffee-ring stains or ink spills via the Supplemental objects. The layouts have an organic hand-constructed feel while maintaining the structural clarity of a classic textbook or storybook.

The Slides
