The Elevation layouts shift the balance of foreground and background from slide to slide, creating a sense of motion that becomes even more pronounced when multiple slides are "bridged" with push or cube transitions.

The Elevation theme floats a range of slide-spanning, staccato layout regions against a range of subtly detailed, understated backgrounds - brought together into a design that constantly shifts the balance of foreground and background to create a sense of implied motion.

Elevation's high-tech appeal makes it especially well suited for architectural, scientific or high-impact corporate topics, with a range of detail-driven layouts and extras brought together in a design that's equally well-suited for a wide variety of practical applications. The included layouts - from traditional text-oriented slides to single, multiple and slide-spanning photo slides - feature clean, easy-to-read type and bullets on content "panels" that can stand alone or become one long stream of content when multiple slides are brought together in a left/right push or cube transition. The accompanying chart palette subtly echoes the background texture, with a subdued gradient and ridge-texture pattern that reveals more detail as more of the fill is exposed, and slide numbers become a natural, secondary accent on nearly every slide in a style that doesn't divert eyes from your content. You can further extend the basic design with the optional Image Grid Overlays, included in the Supplemental file, to bring a technical feel to stand-alone photos or as a group in your own grid-based mosaic or photo/inset groups - perfect for displaying an overview and details all at once. Even create your own Elevation-themed layouts with the "Blank Stage" masters and simple shape objects - so you can stay "on-style" with the theme and still create the layout that's just right for what you need to present. And with ample header/footer space on every slide, you can add running information - like a presentation name, company name or logo - to every slide without encroaching on your content.

What's New for '09.

Warp Series: Elevation has been completely overhauled in the transition to Keynote '09, producing a wholly new Elevation theme that is even easier to use and customize than the original release. Now built entirely with native shape objects and image placeholders, you can change the cool blue background hues to another color, gradient or photo with a simple change on the Appearance Inspector - even change the colored panels, strokes and accents on the master slides to better match your corporate palette, or create your own layout variations thanks to the ease of the new shape object approach. The Elevation '09 Master Slide pool has also expanded - up to 34 Master Slides in the Pro/HD version - including new layout options designed to make the theme even more flexible in the new Keynote '09 architecture. And all-new HD and Mobile Editions make this the most flexible Elevation release yet.
