Explore the unique angles of Copenhagen for Keynote '09 - a highly stylized theme designed to capture your audience's attention from wholly unexpected perspectives.
Shatter the Box.
The unique fractal-inspired foundation of the Copenhagen theme is echoed in the signature photo styles - turning your imagery into an integral element of the layout with drag and drop ease.
Copenhagen was designed from the ground up to balance high-impact, aggressively modern styling with a restrained sense of order. We began with a fractal-inspired foundation - extrusions of color and shape that explore a balance of symmetry and chaos through the use of implied space - and explored the interplay of narrative elements within that foundation to create a distinctively playful design with an unmistakably professional edge.
The resulting theme is uniquely eye-catching without crossing the line into clutter. From the basics of common text layouts to the strikingly uncommon photo-driven designs, Copenhagen strikes a balance between being uniquely stylish and maintaining an unflinching polished credibility. The distinctive photo-cut outs beg to be played with, turning nearly any photo into a integral part of the layout with drag and drop ease, while the traditional rectangular photo options offer a classic approach when additional restraint is needed. The included chart palette is understated and professional, extending the core coloration without overpowering the balance of the slide. And since the entire Copenhagen framework is built with native shapes, it's uniquely well-suited for the stunning object-based transitions introduced with iWork '09, including Magic Move, Object Zoom or Perspective transitions.
As assertive or restrained as needed.
Copenhagen's signature image style makes it a snap to build bold, image-driven narrative slides that captivate your audience from unexpected angles. Need a bit more restraint? Traditional-style image slides take a more subdued approach, with conventional picture-frames providing a more understated option.
The Slides
The Copenhagen theme includes 27 master slides - a mix of narrative and image-driven styles, including breath-taking gallery slides set in the unique Copenhagen signature style. The core layouts frame a range of general-purpose styles, each exploring the interplay of the content and image elements in balance against the surrounding extrusions to create an aggressive, yet balanced whole. Photo placements throughout are all single-image driven, a mix of the fractal-inspired signature style and the more traditional, picture-frame alternates. The accompanying chart fills provide a soft, clustered contrast against the surrounding style without overpowering the slide.
The Big Picture: Copenhagen HD.
Copenhagen HD, available exclusively in the Copenhagen Pro and Pro+Mobile Editions, expands the style into HD format with aspect-optimized 16:9 and 16:10 versions of the Copenhagen design, so you can take advantage of the clean simplicity of the new iMac, a MacPro-driven Cinema Display, or a next-generation HD projection system as target presentation platforms without the "dead space" associated with running traditional 4:3 presentations on an HD display. Even run full screen on your new MacBook Pro to take full advantage of every inch of the remarkable display. Your presentation will look like it was custom-tailored for your machine.
Take it on the Run.
Copenhagen goes mobile with the Copenhagen EP Edition themes, included in the Copenhagen Pro+Mobile Edition, built to take the Copenhagen style to the iPhone/iPod Touch or classic-format video-capable iPod in a format optimized for small-screen viewing. Our EP Edition Themes, short for Elevator Pitch, recreate their full-scale KeynotePro Theme namesakes with optimizations for increased readability and clarity on the iPhone and iPod Video screen, as well as Title Safe adjustments allowing you to use your EP presentations with the iPod Composite or iPod Component AV Cables and a television or projector without losing any of your important details.
For presenters on the go, you can be sure you'll get your point across even if you don't have the time or space to set up your notebook for the full-bore presentation: as long as you've got your iPhone, iPod Touch or video-capable iPod in hand, you're never without your pitch when the moment comes.
Copenhagen EP Edition for classic-format video iPods includes 27 complete Master Slides: a wide range of text and photo-oriented designs cross-optimized for iPod and television display. Copenhagen EP Edition for iPhone/iPod Touch includes the 27 Master Slide base of the HD themes, optimized for viewing on the iPhone or iPod Touch's larger, HD-leaning display.
