Aurora was built with simplicity and effortless style in mind. With a nod to the photography phenomenon of Bokeh, Aurora features several layers of focal points within it's hand painted backgrounds, creating a vibrant illusion of depth and soft focus on each slide master. Designed to propel text forward and keep each slide visually interesting without descending into clutter, Aurora hits the perfect harmony of inviting colors and diffuse, clean space.

Aurora is stunning on the screen and incredibly vibrant when projected - framing your photography with liquid pools of light that seem to draw the best from each photo and bringing your narrative-driven slides to life without missing a beat, making photography a choice rather than a matter of necessity. Along with the basic text and photo layouts present in any Keynote theme, we have extended the slides to include Compare & Contrast and Citation slides, vibrant Full Spectrum slides that remove the running diffusion panel from the mix, along with Upper and Lower-Field Caption slides that give you the best of both worlds.

The resulting presentations are alluring, fun to present with and remarkably easy on the eyes. The included chart palette cleverly echo the key colors within the background while keeping the contrasts sharp - both with or without the floating diffusion panel. And since Aurora is built with native shapes, it's well-suited for the stunning object-based transitions introduced with iWork '09, including Magic Move, Object Zoom or Perspective.

The Slides

The Aurora theme includes 26 master slides - a mix of narrative and image-driven styles, including Full Spectrum and Inline slides in the Aurora signature style. The core layouts encompass a full range of general-purpose styles, each making the most of color and space, individually beautiful but even more powerful when used in concert with each other. Photo placements throughout are all single-image driven, a mix of the Inline style full-spread photos and and the more traditional, picture-frame alternates. The accompanying chart fills provide a bright counterpoint and contrast to the surrounding dreamy style without overpowering the slide.

The Big Picture: Aurora HD.

Aurora HD, available exclusively in the Aurora Pro or Pro+Mobile Editions, expands the style into HD format with aspect-optimized 16:9 and 16:10 versions of the Platform design, so you can take advantage of the clean simplicity of a an iMac, a Mac-driven Cinema Display or HD Monitor, or a next-generation HD projection system as target presentation platforms without the "dead space" associated with running traditional 4:3 presentations on an HD display.  Whether attached to an HD display or projecting to an HD-equipped room, your presentation will take full advantage of every inch, custom-tailored to intelligently adapt the Aurora aesthetic to the larger footprint of HD.

Aurora goes mobile with the Aurora EP Edition themes, included in the Aurora Pro+Mobile Edition, built to take the Aurora style to the iPhone/iPod Touch or classic-format video-capable iPod in a format optimized for small-screen viewing. Our EP Edition Themes, short for Elevator Pitch, recreate their full-scale KeynotePro Theme namesakes with optimizations for increased readability and clarity on the iPhone 3G/3Gs and Classic iPod Video screen, as well as Title Safe adjustments allowing you to use your EP presentations with the iPod Composite or iPod Component AV Cables and a television or projector without losing any of your important details.
